What Would You Do with a Wormhole?

First: Happy Birthday, Albert!

Second: Thank you Stephen,  Luanne, and Laura for imagining and organizing this clever hop: What would you do or where would you go if you could traverse a wormhole through space or time just once? One safe round trip passage.

Third: What am I gonna do with my wormhole?

Since it's only one trip, I'd go to the time and place that would best prepare me for the long haul once I returned to here and now. So I'd go to Galilee about 28 A.D. I'd jimmy the wormhole to put me near the crowd that listened to Jesus deliver the Sermon on the Mount. I wouldn't understand the language he was speaking, though he might make it so I could, but even if he didn't, I think just hearing his voice speak those crucial lessons and watching the early Christians drink them up for the very first time would drive them into my heart in a deeper, more indelible way than they ever have been before. And that would be pretty cool. :)

But before you go!  Look to the left and down just a bit. See the Blog Blitz? It's a brand new concept in blogging and it's all about suprising someone with kindness. The brainchild of D.L. Hammons, Mr. Kindness himself. Please read what it's all about and consider joining.

wow, is it a one way trip or do we get to go home too?
seeing Jesus would be awesome, but I can wait to see him in heaven, for reals!

i've always wanted to hang out with mark twain, he's a hoot & i think they had indoor plumbing by then? (dealbreaker!)

Amen! That would be cool to see. And I'm sure He would make it so you understood. Going back to meet Jesus was an idea I toyed with for the blogfest.

That would be very cool to not just read His words, but to actually hear them. I love it!! I wish I had thought of it.

Have you ever been to Israel? I can imagine going there and seeing the sites would almost be like going back in time like that.

And cool idea about the Blog Blitz. :)

Hey! This is a fun game. That would be an amazing sight to see, just from all kinds of perspectives--both the history and the inspiration and the power. I can't even imagine.

Can I tag along? :D <3

That would lay all the conspiracy theories to rest -- you can come back and write a whopping bestseller!

I've already signed up for the Blog Blitz :)

Very cool idea! Would you take a smartphone and capture it to replay once you came back?

Interesting choice. I wonder if his words would be what we think they were - or something entirely different.

I'm sure He'd make sure you understood. Probably even look your way :)

I didn't do the blog hop but that was my first choice, too. I couldn't think of anything greater.
Great choice. And I know you'd be able to understand him, and he would know that you're there. Who knows? Maybe there were other time travelers there, too...

A good choice, and it seems to be one many writers share. Beware those Romans though, and Judas.

Cool idea. Personally I'd rather not go back in time because women didn't have many rights until recently. And some places I wouldn't want to go to in the future for this reason.

That would be a great experience and hopefully you'd be able to have your Bible with you to follow along if you couldn't understand.

Make sure you get a touch of even the hem of his garment to cure any ailments you may have!

Good choice. It's fun to imagine all the possibilities! :)
Wow! That would be awesome to sit at Jesus' feet for the Sermon on the Mount!

That would be pretty cool to hear. Really, listening to anyone influential give their speech would be amazing, MLK, Gandhi, etc. Good call.

Wow, I'd love to go with you on your wormhole trip. And I know He'd make it so we understood. It would be breathtaking.

A great use for the wormhole.
I've been seeing items all day as well about the Blog Blitz, I'm on my way over!

That would be neat. There are many points in history I'd be awed to witness.

I thought about that, too. But I'll get to see Him in eternity and didn't choose a Jesus wormhole, but something more personal. Thanks for your kind comment.
Nice to meet you, sister!

Having been to (21st century) Galilee, I'd really recommend it as a beautiful, peaceful area of Israel. It's amazing how calm and accepting people are up there, perhaps because of its history of having different groups living together peacefully. I'd love to see how Israel looked in those days, when the ruins were real buildings.

Sounds like a lovely journey, may I come along?
This would certainly be an interesting trip!

There was an infamous science fiction novel by Michael Moorcock in the late 1960s entitled "Behold the Man," about a man who travels back in time to see Jesus, to disconcerting consequences.

That would be fascinating to listen to. There are so many things in history that would be cool to see in trips back in time.

What a delightfully genuine and good-hearted response. I'm not a religious man myself, and I envy those whose hearts are lead by spirituality. Love your writing-- glad to have found this blog via the hop. I shall be purchasing your book when it is released. Best of luck!

I like your choice. This would be an awesome experience for sure.

I missed out on doing this Wormhole Fest, but I've been missing out on a lot of blogging things lately.

Book release day coming soon!
